The First Event of Its Kind in Japan, Organized by a Woman Known for Her Love of Congo
"Congo Week in Shinjuku Marui Main Building by Keio SFC Yoko Hasebe Seminar" to be Held
—Limited Sale of "Lipta" (Colorful Congolese Fabric) Products That Previously Sold Out in Five Hours—
CoreStream Co., Ltd. (located in Koto-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoshiharu Asami), a new business consulting firm, and the Yoko Hasebe Seminar at Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC) (located in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture; supervised by Yoko Hasebe) will hold "Congo Week: The Unexplored Charms of Congo in Shinjuku Marui Main Building by Keio SFC Yoko Hasebe Seminar" at a special venue on the 1st floor of the Shinjuku Marui Main Building. The event will run from 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 23, 2017, to 9:00 PM on Sunday, October 1, 2017.
▶ Event Highlights
・Introduction and sale of limited-edition products using colorful "Lipta" fabric, a performance of ethnic music on the open-air rooftop terrace (subject to cancellation in case of rain), and an introduction to Congo.
・Limited-edition Lipta fabric products are scheduled to be available for sale starting from the first day of the event, September 23.
・A live painting space will be set up on the venue wall, with a live painting performance by artist SHOGEN scheduled.
