The Economic Affairs Bureau of the City of Yokohama, Keio Research Institute at SFC, and the Yokohama Industrial Development Corporation Conclude a Tripartite Basic Agreement

On Wednesday, March 29, 2017, a signing ceremony for a basic agreement on collaboration and cooperation was held at the Economic Affairs Bureau of the City of Yokohama between the Economic Affairs Bureau of the City of Yokohama, Keio Research Institute at SFC, and the Yokohama Industrial Development Corporation (IDEC).

As part of its efforts to create new industries and businesses through open innovation, the City of Yokohama is promoting the industrialization of innovative technologies such as IoT and human resource development. As a driving force for this, a new consortium based on collaboration between industry, academia, government, and finance, called "Yokohama Open Innovation Partners (I・TOP Yokohama)," is scheduled to be launched in fiscal year 2017.

Based on this basic agreement, Keio Research Institute at SFC will participate in I・TOP Yokohama and plans to launch various initiatives using the city of Yokohama as its field.
