Online Application for Use of Shared Research Rooms for AY 2017
If you wish to use a shared research room in AY 2017, please follow the application procedures outlined below.
Starting from AY 2017, applications will be accepted online only, not on paper.
Details
1. The applicant representative should access the page below and fill out the "Shared Research Room Use Application Form."

* Only the faculty member who is the applicant representative can apply. Please log in with your CNS account.
You can also log in with your password for registering course guide data.
* Please submit an application for all cases: new, renewal, or renewal with changes.
You may not be allocated a shared research room if an application is not submitted.
* For new applications, cases where the project name changes significantly, or cases where the representative changes, please also fill out the "Statement of Reasons for Using a Shared Research Room."
* If you will be vacating your shared research room at the end of AY 2016, please mark the "Vacating" box on the "Shared Research Room Use Application Form" and be sure to enter the scheduled date of vacating.
* As a general rule, the content of the application form and the statement of reasons will be published on the web (for internal university access only).
2. Use of a shared research room requires a contribution to a coordination fee, with the exception of specific uses determined by the Executive Board's policy.
After consideration by the Facilities and Environment Committee, it has been decided that the coordination fee will remain the same as in AY 2016, with the clarified purpose of using these funds to improve the educational and research environment at SFC in the future. We appreciate your understanding.
○ Coordination and Usage Fees
For shared research rooms in the KOILON Building, a fee is charged for the area of use exceeding 20 m² per full-time faculty member (4,000 yen/tsubo per month).
A fee is charged for the area of use of shared research rooms in the Delta and Zeta Buildings (6,000 yen/tsubo per month).
