Headed by Professor Tomoyuki Furutani of the Faculty of Policy Management, this consortium was established last December to promote education, research, and social implementation with the aim of co-creating a drone-oriented society.

The press conference began with moderation by Officer Masaki Minami (Project Assistant Professor, Graduate School of Media and Governance), followed by an overview from the head of the consortium, Professor Furutani. Then, constituent members Shiro Inoue (President and CEO, Aviator Japan Co., Ltd.), Kotaro Chiba (Director and Co-Founder, Colopl, Inc.), Shintaro Takahashi (Researcher, Digital Hollywood University Graduate School), and Yoshichika Sakamoto (President and CEO, ORSO, Inc.) gave a presentation, including video footage, on future activities in areas such as drone racing, business, educational curricula, and media utilization.

Many questions were raised from the audience, indicating a high level of interest in topics such as drone utilization, education, and social implementation.
