The Camp for Designing the Future, aimed at high school students, was held at SFC on Friday, July 31.

Marking its fifth year, the Camp for Designing the Future was designed as a venue for participants, many meeting for the first time, to share their diverse knowledge and wisdom and to experientially consider the "ability to execute" that will shape the future. Communicating with fellow participants while tackling open-ended problems sparks flexible thinking and moments of inspiration.

On the day of the event, 117 high school students gathered from across the country and were divided into six workshops. Together with faculty members and current SFC students, they each proactively engaged in discussions, creative projects, and programming.

It was a day for participants to meet new people and build connections, experience the unique perspectives and ways of thinking characteristic of SFC, and take a step forward into the future.
