The Yamagishi Student Project Support Program is a program funded by donations from Mr. Kotaro Yamagishi, Vice Chairman of GREE, Inc., that provides grants for graduation project research by undergraduate students of the Faculty of Policy Management, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, and Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care.
On Thursday, January 15, a presentation of results was held at the Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC) for projects selected in the spring semester of the 2014 academic year, where 20 students presented their research findings.
The research topics, spanning the specialized fields of the three faculties, were all of high social significance, and a lively Q&A session was held with Mr. Yamagishi and SFC faculty members.
At the end of the presentations, Mr. Yamagishi offered words of encouragement as a general critique, saying, "There were many practical and future-oriented presentations. I hope you will continue to do your best, aiming to be pioneers and thinking about how to create your own fields."
