The Takashi Iba Laboratory has created "Words for a Journey: Hints for Living Well with Dementia," a pattern language that compiles practical ideas for living well with dementia. It describes the specific actions that people with dementia, their families, and those around them can take to live a better life while accepting dementia. The aim is to widely introduce and share the "positive and practical ideas" of people who are living vibrantly with dementia, enabling more people to live more positively, and to create opportunities to promote social dialogue about living with dementia. These results will be presented at a press conference on Friday, October 31, and will be exhibited, presented, and distributed as booklets at various events in November.
