A message from Associate Professor Satoko Oki of the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies was featured in "Watashitachi no Doutoku: Chugakko" (Our Morals: Junior High School), published by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).

In the "Kono Hito ni Manabu" (Learning from This Person) section, which introduces historical figures, athletes, and researchers, she shares a message for junior high school readers about what sparked her interest in the Earth and the importance for us, as small beings on this planet, to understand seismic activity and humbly prepare for earthquakes.
