This system is for prospective graduates of high schools outside Japan who reside outside of Japan. The only matriculation period is September.

Selection for AO Admissions (overseas application) is based solely on document screening; no interviews are conducted. This allows applicants to apply without coming to Japan. In addition to the required application documents, scores from TOEFL, the SAT Reasoning Test, and SAT Subject Tests (in two or more subjects) are required. (Please be sure to check the Application Guidebook for details.)

Please download the "AO Admissions (overseas application) Application Guidebook" and the various required forms below, and apply after carefully reading the Application Guidebook.

*Note: For information on the entrance examination (Admission for GIGA Program) for the GIGA Program (September entry only) at the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, please see this site .
