The 24th Tanabata Festival, a quintessential summer event at SFC, was held on Saturday, July 6.

The Tanabata Festival is a school festival run independently by a student executive committee. Every year, it features various events designed to foster interaction with the local community.

This year's concept was "Connecting Stars." It embodies the hope that by likening each individual to a star, the gathering and connecting of these stars will create harmony, much like a beautiful starry sky. This theme was reflected in the event's color scheme, logo, and decorations.

In addition to the annual summer-themed events like fireworks, Bon-odori dancing, and tanzaku paper strips, there were also attractions such as projection mapping using cutting-edge technology and an event where the ground was lit up with chemical lights to accompany the fireworks. Despite the intense heat following the end of the rainy season, the festival was a lively success, drawing a large crowd of visitors.
