We will be hosting international students from Germany during this spring break. Our exchange partner, Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg in Germany, has been engaged in exchanges with SFC for seven years, and this year marks the fourth year since the student exchange agreement was concluded with Keio University (See: http://deutsch.sfc.keio.ac.jp/). The year before last, we also concluded a master's double degree program agreement with the Graduate School of Media and Governance.
Every year from February to March, we conduct a reciprocal student exchange program focused on fieldwork activities. This year, we are hosting three undergraduate and two graduate students. They will conduct various joint fieldwork activities, primarily with a support team composed of SFC students taking German language courses. All are outstanding international students who are studying the Japanese language and aspire to pursue Japanese studies. This year, in particular, they are expected to play a key role in the activities of the Japanese Studies Platform Lab at the Keio Research Institute at SFC (https://www.sfc.keio.ac.jp/research_projects/JSP_lab.html).
We are pleased to announce a welcome party for the Halle University international students and SFC students, to be held as follows.
Date & Time: Wednesday, February 29, 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.

Fee: Free
