Rio Namizato (1st Year, Faculty of Policy Management)

I entered SFC to contribute to poverty and environmental issues. At the beginning, I thought thoroughly about the fundamentals. For example, I tried to have my own definitions for questions like why we need to save people or why we want to improve the global environment. Then, things that were vague regarding what I should do became clear through conscious conversations with professors, and I was able to find what I should be doing. To introduce it briefly, I will realize the optimization of individuals and society by spreading PHR (Personal Health Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records, which refers to the exchange of PHR among medical institutions) throughout society. There is no forced happiness there, and resources can be consumed efficiently. Now, I am going through trial and error to turn what I found into a business.

I am indebted to H-Village every day, and I often talk about my business in my daily life. Of course, the reverse is also true; there are people with completely different goals, so it is a learning experience to see different ways of thinking. In particular, differences in race are educational in many ways. I feel that my world is expanding through differences in language, daily life, how to interact with friends, and values. There is nothing more credible than hearing information about other countries firsthand from people who lived there or their parents. I am living a truly fulfilling life every day. It is thanks to the scholarship that I am able to live in H-Village. Thank you very much, truly.

Beheshta Jan (2nd Year, Faculty of Policy Management)

Hello, I am Beheshta Jan, a second-year student in the Faculty of Policy Management. Currently, I live in Rosemary House in H-Village.

H-Village is located within the SFC campus, which saves commuting time, allowing me to study at the Media Center until late at night or stay in the lab to focus on research activities.

The dormitory is always lively, and I can enjoy interacting with friends. In particular, the shared space called the Learning Commons is where residents gather and serves as the center of interaction. If there is something I don't understand in my assignments, I can collaborate with other residents in the Commons. On days off, we sometimes watch movies or play games together.

Also, various events are held at H-Village, which helps deepen the sense of unity among residents. For example, in May, there was an inter-house sports competition, and heated matches took place. Furthermore, exchange meetings with international students and snack parties are frequently held.

And H-Village has the great benefit of providing breakfast and dinner. While nutritional balance tends to be biased when living alone, residents can enjoy healthy and delicious meals together with friends.

For me, H-Village is a wonderful dormitory where I can enrich not only my studies but also my friendships. I am truly grateful to be able to live here thanks to the scholarship.
