On March 30, 2020, a donor wall inscribed with the names of donors was installed in the lobby of the Theta Building at Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC). (Donors who wished to remain anonymous are not listed).
This plaque honors 195 individual donors, 86 corporate donors, and 17 group (volunteer group) donors. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who have donated.
The donor wall was designed by Keio student Takehiro Tsumuraya, who is participating in the Beta Village construction project as part of the SBC (Student Built Campus) activities.
The design concept is "Vector to the future," and the entire plaque is shaped as if it were a section cut from a large sphere. Like a concave lens, the shape, with its gentle steps from the periphery to the center, presents a different appearance depending on the viewing angle.
On the day of the installation, due to preventive measures against the novel coronavirus, only a small number of related personnel were present, but Fumitoshi Kato, Dean of the Graduate School of Media and Governance; Hiroto Kobayashi, Professor at the Graduate School of Media and Governance (attending remotely); Toshiko Hirota, Administrative Director of Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC); and other personnel involved in the Miraisozojuku (Institute for Designing the Future) project confirmed the installation.
