PeOPLe Co-creation and Utilization Consortium
The "Healthcare Data and Ethics" Task Force of the PeOPLe Co-creation and Utilization Consortium, chaired by Professor Takehiro Ohya of the Keio University Faculty of Law (also a researcher at the Keio University Well-being Research Center), has published the "Interim Report on the Ideal State of the Ethical Review System in the Healthcare Field."
In the healthcare field, which is attracting attention due to the advent of a super-aging society and growing consideration for well-being, this report examines the ethical use and application of data obtained on a daily and continuous basis from healthy adults and proposes the establishment of an ethical review system. This report was prepared with the support of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) Program on Open Innovation Platform with Enterprises, Research Institute and Academia (OPERA) (Grant Number: JPMJOP1842).
