Keio University (President: Akira Haseyama), Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. (President & Director: Satoru Katsuno; hereinafter, Chubu Electric Power), and Hitachi, Ltd. (President & CEO: Toshiaki Higashihara; hereinafter, Hitachi) have demonstrated that by analyzing darknet traffic from suspicious communications observed by each organization, it is possible to detect signs of cyberattacks that were previously difficult to identify. This early detection helps prevent damage from increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks.
