The Keio University Graduate School of System Design and Management (Keio SDM) will exhibit at Salone del Mobile.Milano (Milan Design Week 2019), the world's largest design festival, held in Milan, Italy from Tuesday, April 9 to Sunday, April 14, 2019. This marks the fifth consecutive year of participation, following an exhibition at SaloneSatellite in 2015, a solo university exhibition in the Tortona district in 2016, an exhibition at Superstudio, a central presence at Salone del Mobile.Milano, in 2017, and a joint exhibition with a company of Keio SDM alumni in 2018.

In an era of high uncertainty and rapid change, flexibility and innovation are required. In these chaotic times, it is increasingly common for progress to be hindered by preconceived notions in various situations.

This year, under the theme "Break the Bias," four student teams from the Keio Graduate School of System Design and Management will exhibit solutions for building and cherishing new and better relationships with others and society by breaking through the unconscious assumptions, prejudices, and preconceived notions that we all hold.

Through its exhibition at Salone del Mobile.Milano, the Keio Graduate School of System Design and Management aims to raise awareness of the potential for solving social issues through its education in system design, which is based on systems engineering.
