The 15th Shiba-Kyoyaku Festival, the school festival of the Faculty of Pharmacy, was held on Saturday, October 8, and Sunday, October 9.
Although it was held online for the third consecutive year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the dedicated website
received over 3,000 total views from many people.
This year's theme, "Conversion," reflected the desire to convey the current transitional period,
as university life, which had been completely changed by the COVID-19 pandemic, is gradually returning.
We believe that the introduction to school life from the perspective of Faculty of Pharmacy students, which both prospective and current students could enjoy, and the laboratory introductions, filled with unique research content and personality,
conveyed the academic yet at-home atmosphere of the campus.
There were also campus tours, hands-on learning sessions themed on crude drugs, and consultation sessions for prospective students where they could listen carefully
to valuable stories about school life from Faculty of Pharmacy students, providing a full range of events for prospective students who found it difficult to visit the campus due to the pandemic.
Under the management of the Shiba-Kyoyaku Festival Executive Committee, the two-day event successfully showcased
Faculty of Pharmacy students who are dedicated to their research and extracurricular activities even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
