2024 Urawa Festival

On Saturday, May 11, the Urawa Festival, a sports event for new students, was held at the Urawa-Kyoritsu Campus.
The Urawa Festival is planned and managed by the Shiba Gakuyukai (Student Association) to promote interaction among new students of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Blessed with fine weather again this year, 237 new first-year students participated. Each class created their own unique matching T-shirts and competed in a costume relay, dodgeball, team jump rope, a ball-carrying race, a tail-snatching game, and finally, the classic class-representative relay race.
As the event progressed, the cheers grew louder, with each class competing for the championship. The day ended with everyone smiling for a group photo, making it a meaningful day that deepened friendships with the peers who will support each other throughout their student lives.
