On Friday, February 7, the "2024 Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduation Research Presentation Session" was held in the Multipurpose Hall of Building 1 on the Shiba-Kyoritsu Campus, where fourth-year students from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences presented the results of their graduation research.
The students displayed posters of their research results, the culmination of their hard work, in the venue. In front of their posters, they each explained their research to two faculty members, followed by a Q&A session where they received feedback. Additionally, they explained their work to other faculty members not assigned to provide feedback and engaged in discussions about their research.
Fourth-year students in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences have dedicated a significant amount of time to their graduation research in the lab since being assigned to a laboratory in the fall semester of their third year. Although research often does not yield the expected results, students' problem-solving skills are honed by addressing new challenges that arise from unexpected outcomes. At this presentation session, an opportunity to present the results obtained through long hours and great effort, the students, though looking nervous, gave passionate presentations.
