Department of Pharmacy (6-year program)
The career paths of graduates extend into a surprisingly diverse range of fields, built upon a foundation of advanced pharmaceutical knowledge. In addition to working as pharmacists in hospitals, pharmacies, and government agencies, approximately 30% find employment in pharmaceutical-related companies such as drug manufacturers. Another major characteristic is that graduates also enter a wide variety of industries, including consulting, finance, IT, and trading companies. The breadth of options—allowing graduates to create value in all areas of society by leveraging their pharmaceutical expertise beyond the medical field—is a significant appeal unique to the Department of Pharmacy.
Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (4-year program)
A key characteristic is the extremely high rate of advancement to graduate school, typically between 80% and 90%, with many graduates choosing to pursue Master's and Ph.D. programs to further refine their advanced expertise. After completing graduate school, they utilize their deep academic knowledge to work in research and development roles at domestic and international pharmaceutical manufacturers, as well as in the chemical, food, and cosmetics industries.
