Published: July 10, 2026

Summary

Pregnancy involves dynamic interactions between the maternal endocrine and nervous systems that influence both maternal physiology and fetal development.

This project will use mouse models to investigate how antidepressant treatment during pregnancy affects maternal physiology, behavior, and fetal development.

The findings will provide new insights into maternal–fetal biology and support the future development of medical care during pregnancy.
