Summary
We will continue to collect responses to the Japanese version of the LIBRE Profile-SF from the 60 burn survivors and compare the results with existing health-related quality of life (HRQOL) measures. Our primary objective for this fiscal year is to begin verifying whether this assessment tool is reliable and valid for evaluating the degree of social participation and reintegration among burn patients in Japan. Furthermore, based on the analysis and validation results, we have set a new goal of developing an electric application aimed at future clinical use. This will enable burn patients to easily self-assess their condition anytime, anywhere via the internet.
