Summary
To achieve the mission of Keio STAR, the initiative was fully launched in FY2025 with the participation of member companies, aiming to generate impact through the integrated collaboration of three sub-projects:
“Education: S-School,” “Global Standards Development: Beyond SDGs,” and “Innovation Support: Impact Open Innovation (IOI).”
In FY2026, a variety of actions will be promoted in collaboration with member companies.
For “Education: S-School,” preparations are currently underway for an intensive short-term program, which is scheduled to be launched in FY2026.
For “Global Standards Development: Beyond SDGs,” the activities of the public-private Beyond SDGs Council, initiated in FY2025, will be further accelerated. Efforts will focus on building a foundation for policy recommendations across three layers: Japan, Asia, and island regions.
For “Innovation Support: Impact Open Innovation (IOI),” case studies and research group activities are being conducted to identify key factors that facilitate M&A between large corporations and startups, with the aim of preparing a policy proposal.
In addition, regarding the research on realizing an inclusive society, which began in FY2025, regular meetups (events) will be organized on an ongoing basis.
