This event will feature two mini-lectures.
■ Ms. Yuko Oguma (Associate Professor, Sports Medicine Research Center / Graduate School of Health Management)
〇 Mini-lecture:
"Let's Move Well and Eat Well!"
Lack of exercise (people who do not get enough physical activity) is common among the younger generation. Another problem is that even those who exercise, such as in club activities, are not eating enough in terms of quantity and quality to match their activity levels (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport, RED-S). In women, this can manifest as menstrual irregularities and decreased bone density. Stay healthy with a proper energy balance. This also contributes to the SDGs!
■ Ms. Hina Wakao (Registered Dietitian and Preventive Medicine Specialist)
〇 Mini-lecture:
"A Little at a Time, Starting with What You Can Do. Tips for Improving Your Dietary Balance!"
Does "balance" sound difficult to achieve? Not at all!
Understanding the meaning behind what, how much, and when you eat can change the significance of each meal.
Eating properly is a shortcut anyone can take to stay healthy and energetic!!
In the second half, we will explore the theme through a Q&A session while having a meal with all participants. We look forward to your participation.
