Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
Keio University has established the Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion to build an environment where its faculty and staff, university students, pupils, and children can respect each other's dignity, recognize diverse values, and live cooperatively. The office was created to promptly address issues related to the acceptance of diversity and promotes various initiatives to realize an environment of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
This office, a reorganization and expansion of the former Office for Gender Equality and the Barrier-Free Committee, is a university-wide organization. It aims to lead the formation of a society of equity, diversity, and inclusion in Japan by promoting projects related to work-life balance, accessibility, diversity, and community engagement.
