We will be holding the Body Seminar: "A Talk about the Mind."
The Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion's "Women's Body Support - Breeze Project" will hold its 13th Body Seminar, titled ""A Talk about the Mind" ~Feeling Down Lately?~".
During this season when it's easy to feel unwell both mentally and physically, mental health issues can happen to anyone.
We will ask experts about self-care methods and when to seek medical advice for when you feel that you or someone close to you is "not feeling mentally well?"
In the latter half, during the dialogue and Q&A session, we will answer questions from participants and explore ways to manage our mental well-being.
We look forward to receiving your applications.

This event will feature two mini-lectures and a dialogue.
■ Dr. Nariko Katayama (Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Neuropsychiatry, School of Medicine)
Mini-lecture
"When You Can't See the Future ~Depression~"
Everyone feels down or sad when something unpleasant happens.
If this feeling continues every day, it can become difficult to imagine a happy future. In this seminar, I will explain the pathology and treatment of depression, as well as discuss coping strategies for when you feel mentally unwell.
■ Mr. Hideto Hagiwara (Part-time Counselor, Student Counseling Room / Certified Public Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist)
Mini-lecture
"Self-Monitoring of the Mind ~Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Student Counseling~"
To notice mental distress, it is important to first carefully observe your own mental and physical state. This process is called "self-monitoring." As one useful method for understanding your own condition and coping appropriately, I will introduce self-monitoring as used in cognitive behavioral therapy, with examples.
In the latter half, during the dialogue, we will explore the theme while answering questions from the participants in a Q&A session.
We look forward to your participation.
