The Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion is responsible for administrative, coordination, and external affairs duties related to equity, diversity, and inclusion, in collaboration with related departments, each campus, and affiliated schools.
Under the Director of the Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, who is also the Vice-President in charge, and the Chairperson of the Promotion Committee, a Promotion Committee has been established to promote university-wide initiatives aimed at realizing a collaborative society where people from diverse backgrounds respect and cooperate with each other.
Furthermore, four project committees have been established under the Promotion Committee.
Each project committee plays a specialized role in promoting initiatives in their respective fields: work-life balance, barrier-free accessibility, diversity, and community engagement.
