The Correspondence Education Program holds Summer Schooling as part of its in-person instruction. This academic year, schooling classes, including Physical Education and laboratory experiments, were held at the Hiyoshi Campus for Period I (August 5–10) and Period II (August 12–17), and at the Mita Campus for Period III (August 19–24). Approximately 1,130 students participated in Period I, 1,300 in Period II, and 1,300 in Period III.
On August 8, a Shinzo Koizumi Memorial Lecture academic seminar titled "Measuring Market Competition with Economics" was given by Hiroki Kawai, Dean of the Faculty of Economics. On August 24, a special lecture titled "What it Means to Study at Keio University" was given by President Kohei Itoh. Both events were attended by many students from the Correspondence Education Program.
During the period, students of all ages from across the country gathered to deepen their learning, and each campus was bustling with activity.
