On October 9, Waseda University President Takayuki Homma visited Keio University for the first time since assuming office and held a meeting with President Kohei Itoh.
Vice Presidents from both universities were also in attendance, and a wide range of opinions were exchanged regarding the environment surrounding universities and the future of higher education.
Waseda University and Keio University, which have long challenged each other as both allies and friendly rivals, will continue to elevate one another and contribute to the development of universities and society.
