1 Energy Conservation Goals
Reduce energy consumption intensity by 2% or more compared to FY2024 for each campus unit.
*1 Energy Consumption Intensity
A value calculated by converting each type of energy (electricity, gas, etc.) into heat quantity to total the usage of energies with different units, and then dividing that total value by the total floor area of each campus.
2 Results for November
Four campuses, excluding Hiyoshi and Shiba-Kyoritsu, showed a decrease. Three campuses—Mita, Yagami, and Shinanomachi—achieved a reduction exceeding the energy conservation goal.

(2) Factor Analysis
The outside air temperature (Tokyo), which is closely related to energy consumption, was 0.9°C lower than the previous year, suggesting that heating demand was higher than last year. Mita Campus and Yagami Campus saw a decrease in energy consumption intensity due to the effects of measures such as switching to LED lighting fixtures. Shinanomachi Campus achieved its energy conservation goal as energy consumption intensity decreased due to factors such as having fewer consultation days than last year. Meanwhile, energy consumption intensity increased at Hiyoshi Campus, which saw a 4% increase, due to the operation of Fujiyama Memorial Hall (Fujiyama Kinenkan), and at Shiba-Kyoritsu Campus, which saw a 2% increase, due to increased use of air conditioning units.
