The Correspondence Courses offer Summer Schooling as part of their in-person instruction. This year, following the orientation on August 3, schooling sessions including physical education and laboratory experiments were held at the Hiyoshi Campus for Session I (Aug. 4–9) and Session II (Aug. 11–16), and at the Mita Campus for Session III (Aug. 20–25). Approximately 1,300 students participated in Session I, 1,500 in Session II, and 1,400 in Session III.

On August 13, as part of the Shinzo Koizumi Memorial Lecture series, Takao Sato, Dean of the Faculty of Letters, gave a lecture titled "The Archaeology of Intertwined Humans and Nature." On August 22, President Kohei Itoh held a lecture titled "What it Means to Study at Keio University." Both events were attended by many correspondence students.

During the period, students of various ages from all over the country deepened their learning, and each campus was bustling with activity.
