On May 8, a ceremony was held at Keio University's Hiyoshi Campus to celebrate the renovation of the Fujiyama Memorial Hall (Fujiyama Kinenkan), which has been transformed into a new facility while preserving its history. Following the ceremony, a tour of the facility was conducted, showcasing the renewed interior of the hall.

The tour introduced facilities including a cafe space, the "SAJI THEATER"—a new venue for cultural and artistic expression that can accommodate up to 123 people and features large doors made of cedar from the Keio Forest—a studio for a wide range of activities such as dance and music, and a gallery that can be used for exhibitions and presentations. Additionally, a dance performance by an officially authorized student club was held in the "SAJI THEATER."

The former Fujiyama Memorial Hall (Fujiyama Kinenkan) was originally opened in 1958 as the "Fujiyama Memorial Hiyoshi Library" through a donation from Keio University alumni Aiichiro Fujiyama. It was renamed the "Fujiyama Memorial Hall (Fujiyama Kinenkan)" in 1985 and has long been cherished as a multifaceted facility. Renovation work was carried out to improve and revitalize the campus environment, address the aging of the facility, and repurpose it.

The newly renovated Fujiyama Memorial Hall (Fujiyama Kinenkan) makes a fresh start as a place for "jinkan kosai (society)," where a diverse range of people, including students and faculty, can gather to enjoy food and music while expanding their social circles. Furthermore, it will take on a new role as a hub where Keio students can showcase their diverse talents not only in education and research but also in the fields of culture and the arts.
