On July 30, Keio University's Vice-President Motohiro Tsuchiya attended the UK-Japan Education Mission Reception held at the British ambassador's residence.
Vice-President Tsuchiya serves as the Co-Chair representing Japanese universities that are members of RENKEI, a consortium of Japanese and British universities.
Before the reception, he met with the UK Minister for Skills and Minister for Women and Equalities, the Rt Hon Baroness Smith of Malvern, and Director of the British Council, Jim Booth OBE, in order to discuss possible study abroad and cross-disciplinary research opportunities between British and Japanese universities.
