From August 4, 2025, Keio University held a three-day Arabic language Instructor training course at the Sheikha Fatima Arabic Learning Center (ALC) on Hiyoshi Campus. The course was conducted in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates University, which dispatched a group of lecturers to provide specialized instruction on Arabic language education. Participants were awarded a certificate upon successful completion of the program.

ALC was established within the Keio Research Center for Foreign Language Education under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak of the United Arab Emirates, and serves as a new center of learning for Arabic language education, aiming to promote the understanding of Arabic culture.

The center also plans to offer an introductory Arabic course from September 2025, in addition to an "Arabic Performance Contest" on Saturday, December 13, in celebration of UN Arabic Language Day (December 18) and will provide other exciting opportunities to experience Arabic language and culture.
