On Tuesday, September 17, Koki Uchida (a second-year student at the Faculty of Science and Technology), who was appointed as the student representative of the All Keio Student Council, and Kenta Yamada (a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Policy Management), the former student representative, paid a visit to President Kohei Ito.

The All Keio Student Council is a student self-government organization aimed at improving the welfare of Keio students, and its representative is elected from among candidates. The visit was made to mark Koki Uchida's appointment as the new student representative, and they discussed the role of the All Keio Student Council and its future activities.

They specifically mentioned the "student council member" system, introduced in April 2024. They reported that by holding public elections for not only the student representative but also for the council members, the system is now better able to reflect the opinions of Keio students. From their respective positions as students and as the President, they exchanged views on the role and importance of self-governing organizations within the university. They also discussed public relations strategies to raise awareness, citing examples from other universities.
