The Keio Senior High School Baseball Club has brilliantly advanced to the finals, defeating Okinawa Shogaku High School, the representative of Okinawa Prefecture, in the quarterfinals on Saturday, August 19, and Tsuchiura Nihon University High School, the representative of Ibaraki Prefecture, in the semifinals on Monday, August 21—a stage they reached for the first time in 103 years. On Wednesday, August 23 (scheduled to start at 2:00 PM), they will face Sendai Ikuei Gakuen High School, the representative of Miyagi Prefecture, aiming for their first national championship in 107 years.
Backed by a large cheering section that has gathered from all over the country, they are just one win away from becoming "KEIO Japan's No. 1." Thank you for your continued warm support until the very end.
