Keio University has entered into a business partnership with READYFOR, Inc., which operates "READYFOR," Japan's first and largest crowdfunding service. In the future, Keio University's undergraduate faculties, graduate schools, and Athletic Association will conduct crowdfunding through "READYFOR," the service provided by READYFOR, Inc.

This partnership aims to actively use crowdfunding as part of outreach for activities that leverage Keio University's research outcomes and student knowledge to solve social issues. The goal is to pursue the ideal of being a leader for all of society and to accelerate social development.

Under this system, you can support various activities of Keio University on a project-by-project basis. In addition, donations to each project are eligible for tax incentives (donation deductions).

Projects will be released sequentially. As the first project under this partnership, "Research on Intractable Neurological Diseases Through Basic and Clinical Fusion: Accelerating Research to Overcome ALS" (led by Professor Hideyuki Okano and Project Lecturer Satoru Morimoto of the Department of Physiology, Keio University School of Medicine) has been launched, and fundraising has begun.

With support that leverages the expertise of READYFOR, Inc., Keio University will work together to accelerate initiatives that contribute to society—one of The Mission of Keio University—and to give back to the community.
