The Mita Festival is an event planned and run by current Keio students based on Keio's founding principle ofdokuritsu-jison(a spirit of independence and self-respect). This was the 64th event and was held over four days from Sunday, November 20 to Wednesday, November 23. The slogan for this year's Mita Festival was "Construct the present to build bridges to the Future." A total of 267 organizations participated in the festival, showcasing the fruits of their labor and projects from their extracurricular activities.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event followed last year's protocol of limiting admission numbers through advance ticket sales as well as following current infection prevention guidelines. In addition to familiar Mita Festival programming such as the main stage shows, seminar research presentations, project displays, and special guest performances, food and drink stalls were brought back for the first time in three years.

This year’s Mita Festival saw a return of the reminiscent hustle and bustle of guests stopping to enjoy the festivities, elaborate displays, and outdoor stage performances in the Mita Quad.
