Keio University has been promoting various initiatives related to the SDGs in a wide range of fields to realize a sustainable future society.
In line with the philosophy of the SDGs, the "Keio University Medium-Term Plan 2022-2026" also aims to provide Keio students studying at the university and its affiliated schools with the values and skills necessary to be globally active. This includes further establishing and practicing diversity and inclusion, and developing an information environment that enables digital transformation (DX).
Based on this philosophy, the "2022 Keio University Student Conference" program will be held at Hiyoshi Campus, with Professor Norichika Kanie and Project Professor Yuko Kuniya of the Graduate School of Media and Governance serving as supervisors. In this program, Keio students selected from all 10 undergraduate faculties will engage in repeated discussions with advice from experts to formulate Keio University's vision, goals, and targets for achieving the SDGs. These will be proposed to President Ito in December 2022.
Keio University will promote the realization of the SDGs throughout the university in both education and research.
