On Thursday, March 10, the 2021 President's Award (Affiliated Schools) Ceremony was held at the West School Building Hall on Mita Campus.
The President's Award (Affiliated Schools) aims to widely publicize and honor students who have served as role models in a variety of fields outside of the regular curriculum, including academic, artistic, social, cultural, and athletic activities. These achievements are not only a personal honor for the students but also bring distinction to Keio University.
The ceremony began with a review of the selection process by Vice-President Keita Yamauchi, the chairman of the selection committee, followed by the presentation of certificates and commemorative gifts and a congratulatory address from President Kohei Ito.
With thorough infection control measures in place, this year, the parents of the award-winning students were also able to attend. Commemorative photos were taken and a social gathering was held, filling the venue with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
