On September 6, the Ministry of Justice announced a total of 1403 successful candidates (1421 last year) for the 2022 National Bar Examination. 104 candidates from the Keio University Law School passed the final examination (125 last year), ranking first among Japanese private universities and 3rd* within the country as a whole. The final pass rate (number of successful candidates divided by total number of examinees) was 57.5% (55.1% last year), first among private universities and 4th out of all Japanese universities.
