On Monday, October 11, the professional baseball draft was held, and the following two members of the Athletic Association Baseball Club were selected.

Tomoya Masaki (fourth-year student, Faculty of Law; outfielder) - Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, second-round pick

Hayato Watanabe (fourth-year student, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies; outfielder) - Orix Buffaloes, fourth-round pick

This year again, to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, the number of media members in attendance was limited, and the press conference was held online. The drafted players took the stage with Manager Tetsuya Horii to express their joy at being selected and their aspirations for the future.

In this year's draft, Keio University alumni Kento Nakamura (outfielder; a 2020 graduate of the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies) was also selected by the Hiroshima Toyo Carp as a third-round pick.
