On September 7, the Ministry of Justice announced a total of 1421 successful candidates (1450 last year) for the 2021 National Bar Examination.
125 candidates from the Keio University Law School passed the final examination (equaling last year's number). The final pass rate (number of successful candidates divided by total number of examinees) of 55.1% (49.8% last year) placed Keio first among law schools in terms of the number of successful candidates, and fourth in terms of the pass rate.
