Keio University has placed 10th among Japanese universities in the latest edition of the Nature Index. This was the highest ranking among private universities in Japan.
The ranking compiled byNature, a leading international journal of science, is collated from research articles published in an independently selected group of 82 high-quality science journals, providing a glimpse into the quality of the research output and collaboration of universities.
Keio's place on the list affirms the high level of research being conducted at the university, particularly in the fields of life sciences, physics, and chemistry.
