Online Press Conference Held by the Incoming Keio University President Kohei Itoh

From 16:00 on Monday, April 26, an online press conference was held (via a Zoom stream), by Professor Kohei Itoh of the Faculty of Science and Technology, who was selected as the incoming Keio President by the Keio University Board of Councillors on that day, and who was joined by current Keio President Akira Haseyama.

During the press conference, President Haseyama introduced incoming president Itoh, who then delivered an address and policy speech. During his policy speech, incoming president Itoh stated that he would like to contribute to global development and the creation of an improved society through the pursuit of "independence and self-respect," namely the ideals of Keio University.

There were numerous participants from media outlets on the day, and a lively question and answer session also ensued.
