On Friday, February 26, Kenta Yamada (a second-year student at the Faculty of Policy Management), who has served as the new student representative for the All Keio Student Council since February; Noriaki Iwadate (a third-year student at the Faculty of Economics), the Secretary-General; and Keisuke Goto (a third-year student at the Faculty of Economics), the former student representative, met online with President Akira Haseyama.

The All Keio Student Council is a student self-government organization aimed at improving the welfare of Keio students. Its representatives are chosen by an election from a pool of candidates.

The students gave a report on their activities to date and their outlook for the future, which included the special website, "Keio students' Novel Coronavirus Countermeasures Susume," launched last year in a joint effort between the All Keio Student Council and student volunteers from the School of Medicine.

The President listened intently and expressed his pleasure in seeing Keio students thinking and acting for themselves as members of the Keio Gijuku Shachu, even in these difficult circumstances. He encouraged them to continue to take pride in their activities.
