A signing ceremony was held between Keio University and Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (JAL) at Mita Campus on Thursday, September 20, attended by Keio Vice-President Jiro Kokuryo and JAL Representative Director and Executive Vice President Tadashi Fujita, among others.
This agreement aims to foster personnel with the abundant creativity required to "imagine the earth’s future" through mutual cooperation primarily by means of close ties between Keio and JAL. Both parties will also actively endeavor to find solutions to societal challenges, and develop sustainably in tandem with society and the region. As part of this, it is planned to implement endowed courses (AY 2018 Fall Semester) in the Faculty of Policy Management and Faculty of Environment and Information Studies and to implement joint research relating to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), among other initiatives.
