Together with the British Council, Keio University organized the "Experience Japan Exhibition" study in Japan fair in London on Saturday, November 18, 2017. This event, which is London’s biggest study in Japan fair, was held for the seventh time this year.
This year, 14 Japanese universities and language schools and Japanese government-affiliated organizations based in the UK set up booths at the event, and there were approximately 550 visitors from the UK and other European countries. They were provided with information on studying abroad at Japanese universities and language schools and on the appeal of Japanese culture. Popular themes from previous years were again included as the topics of this year’s seminars, and there was also a presentation by Associate Professor Kouta Minamizawa of the Graduate School of Media Design titled, “Superhuman Sports: Using advanced technology and design to enhance physical ability,” in anticipation of the upcoming Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
This year again, a return ticket to Japan was kindly provided by a sponsor, with the purpose of giving one lucky winner a chance to come and experience Japan. The winner received the prize from Vice-President Kokuryo.
