Keio University School of Medicine Shibasaburo Kitasato Future Human Resource Development Fund

The Keio University School of Medicine has established its own extensive scholarship system to open its doors wider to all those who aspire to pursue a career in medical sciences.

Currently, approximately 18% of undergraduate students enrolled in the School of Medicine utilize these scholarship programs. However, in order to foster many talented individuals and diverse human resources, we wish to secure and enhance stable financial resources for the future. Therefore, we have established a new scholarship fund to cultivate outstanding individuals who possess perspectives in both basic and clinical medical sciences and who can leave a significant mark on the development of the medical world. Based on this fund, we will support the development of unique and diverse human resources, such as students from various backgrounds across the country, students aiming for global success, and students aspiring to become entrepreneurs. The name of this fund is the Keio University School of Medicine Shibasaburo Kitasato Future Human Resource Development Fund, named after Dr. Shibasaburo Kitasato, the father of modern Japanese medicine and the first Dean of the School of Medicine.

We sincerely ask for your support through donations to cultivate future students of the School of Medicine who are internationally minded and capable of opening up new frontiers in medical sciences and healthcare, befitting the name of Dr. Kitasato.
