Professional Graduate Program (Master’s Level) Taught in English
In April 2017, Keio University Law School (KLS) launched the Global Legal Practice Major (LL.M.), the first professional graduate-level master’s program in Japan to be conducted entirely in English.
KLS was established in 2004 under the founding principles of internationalism, interdisciplinarity, and a pioneering spirit. As one of Japan’s leading law schools, KLS produces a large number of highly capable legal professionals each year. With a strong emphasis on international engagement, KLS boasts a diverse faculty that includes numerous international scholars and practitioners. Its curriculum features over 15 English-taught courses, primarily focusing on business law. The school also welcomes some exchange students annually from partner law schools in the United States, Asia, and Europe.
